Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs all my life and recently got a golden in January 2022. I love animals, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy being active so taking pups on walks would be the highlight of my day! I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. My pup is very friendly and loves play dates with other dogs & I am open to allowing her to tag along on walks per client request :)

I think an important detail of making sure a pup has a positive experience with a new dog sitter is making the sitter aware of their temperament. If a dog enjoys playing with others then I know during my visit to make an effort to allow them to socialize with other dogs we may see. Or if a dog is more relaxed I know to not over work them while still allowing for light exercise to get out of the house and move around.
A typical day
I love going on walks close to a client's home so there is no worry about taking dogs away from their normal routine. However, I am more than willing to venture to a nearby walking path or dog park!

I am currently a graduate student and have plenty of free time this summer to meet new clients and their pups! I am available most weekdays as well as weekends.
