Pet care experience
After 8 years in Austin, I have experience cat-sitting, kitten fostering, and dog-sitting for friends and family, due to vacations mostly. I understand most dogs have been trained to make pet and human life more enjoyable, which I respectfully follow, but also love doing some training while interacting with your pup. I also recognize diet restrictions and needs of an animal, and make sure to follow those guidelines. I believe playtime, feedings, and interaction are important for pets while their human is away. I treat all pets as if they were my own— with love, patience, and understanding! With my repeat visits, I’ve developed a friendship with these pets, which has reduced stress and anxiety for both the animal, and human. I love sharing updates and keeping communication open for overall comfort. Currently, I have a 6 year old cat, Charlie and a 1 year old terrier mutt, Scout. 😊🐈⬛🐕

I have two cats and a dog. One of my kitties is special needs and my dog is a very high anxiety pup. Needless to say, it is not easy to find someone who I can trust to take care of them, making sure they get all their appropriate medicines, the attention they need and she even learned to prepare their special diets. Claudia was completely understanding of their individual situations and made an immediate bond with the cats, earning their trust, which is not the easiest feat for strangers. It is obvious that she cares about the animals entrusted to her and was great working with their human as well. She took excellent care with them and allowed me the chance to relax while I was away, knowing they were in good hands.
I’ve known Claudia both personally and professionally and would definitely recommend her as a great caregiver for anyone’s fur babies! In addition to her own pets, she’s helped care for my cat and dog on numerous occasions. I like knowing that I can trust her with my “children” and feel safe having her in my home when I’m out of town. ❤️
Claudia is an amazing pet sitter! I fully trust that she will always love my pets as much as I do; possibly even more. She is able to give the attention that each individual pet may need; throwing a ball, cuddles, a good solid walk…etc. I will forever use Claudia to help me when I need someone to look after my pups and cats.

A typical day
Long walks and sniffing activities. I also like to have impromptu training times, to ensure they are engaged and learning, which will ensure they get that brain stimulation. If your dog likes to run, I’m happy to run them on leash or in a large grass area!

I’m currently on hiatus from work, so am available anytime after my morning walk, to the evening. I’d be happy to bring along my dog for some play time— she’s small but mighty and plays with dogs no matter their size!
