Unabashed Dog-Loving Student!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Claudia and I am a 26 year old university law student. I do not have a ton of professional experience walking dogs but I do my best to make up for that with hard-work, passion and a can-do attitude. During my time at University, I did do some volunteering with the local SPCA organization walking shelter dogs.When people ask whether I'm a "dog or cat person?", I always laugh because it's never even been a question to me. I am 100% a dog person. I'm the type of girl who has her dogs on the back of her phone case, unabashedly wears "dood"-related slogans on her clothes and who's photo roll is just backed up with dog photos galore.Later in life when i'm more settled financially, I hope to open a dog rescue charity. Another passion in my life is animal photography, so I can definitely share some great photos from any walks and/or visits. I have had 4 golden doodles in my life and all 4 captured my heart completely. I am comfortable with a variety of sizes since my doods have all been about 70 pounds and they were all pretty high energy dogs so I’m use to doing more strenuous activities with them. To me, a dog should always be treated like a part of the family. This is what I promise to do for any dog that I walk or visit.

I unfortunately cannot have dogs in my studio flat at the moment, but will respect any rules set in terms of caring for your dog while walking them in the neighborhood.

What is their demeanor like? How do they handle new people? Any issues with obedience? I am very partial to poodle mixes but will take and love all breeds equally.
A typical day
Where I'll go on the walk, definitely depends on the dog. You have to know and understand the dog personally before making such choices. This can also be said for any other activities we may do together. You should never have a one-size fits all mentality when caring for animals of any kind. Each and every dog is a unique individual and should be treated as such. With that being said, I am definitely up for walking anywhere and doing plenty of different activities together; going to a dog park, hiking, and playing ball, to name a few. I always love to shoot photos of the dogs I'm playing with so expect some cute updates :)

I’m currently working part time and as it’s the summer, am off school. I therefore have plenty of free time in my schedule for care.
