I've grown up surrounded by big dogs, cats and horses. I had the pleasure of spending 24 years with our old family dog. During his last years, I often was responsible for administering any medication for our senior and often helped my aunt to do so with her pets aswell. When I moved to Spain many years ago, I adopted a senior cat. This was one of the most loving experience that I had! Nen (the cat), made me even more patient and understanding. Here too, I had to learn to administer medication to a senior. A few years ago a friend adopted a highly anxious, stressed and insecure dog. Through helping her train him basic commands and walking "etiquette", he has become a very happy and friendly dog, who is excited to meet new people and loves to go on adventures. He's a regular guest at mine. All these experiences made me understand the need of a trusted person who loves and looks after your pet like you would yourself.
