Pet care experience
For the last 2 years I have voluntarily fostered dogs in my home primarily working alongside Guide Dogs UK and have now decided to get paid to do it rather than doing it for free! I therefore have plenty of experience in boarding dogs in my home.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Claudia - she is friendly, professional and her love and experience in caring for dogs just shines through! Our Labrador Rosco took to Claudia very quickly on the meet and greets before he stayed over (and he can quite aloof with people he doesn't know!) so I felt really confident that he would be happy and well looked after while we were away for 4 nights. Claudia was brilliant at sending us little updates of how much fun they were having together in the day and how settled he was in the evenings - the peace of mind that Rosco was having his own little holiday while Claudia accommodated his usual routine (sorry for the 6am breakfasts!) meant we could relax and enjoy our break. Rosco would definitely like to come and stay again soon! xx
We booked Claudia having never used Rover or had Rosie away from us for more than a couple of hours! Claudia was fantastic from start to finish - she did a meet and greet with Rosie beforehand and got to know her, asking lots of questions before her stay. I felt completely at ease having Rosie stay with Claudia. She sent lots of photo and video updates, took Rosie on a lovely Sunday morning walk and even to a cafe! Completely spoiled! Thank you so much Claudia, we will definitely book you again xx
Arthur is our 12.5year old Staffi he loved being with Claudia he did what he does best plodding along on his walk and sleeping on the couch thank you Claudia x

I have a detached house (good for those noisier dogs!) with a large fenced garden (good for any escape artists!) and I am the only occupant in the home, there are no children or other pets in my home. I can therefore dedicate my time and attention to your pet as needed. I have room for a crate if your pet is crate trained but am also happy for your pet to have free roam of my home. Most of my rooms have doors if your pet prefers their own privacy. I have a fairly pet friendly couch but would ask that your pets do not sleep on my bed with me (I have a spare bed they can sleep on if needs be).

A typical day
I have plenty of fun activities and toys in my home that will keep your dog stimulated. I keep frozen kongs, thawed out kongs, licky mats and toys that will keep your dogs entertained for plenty of time. I also like to go on walks there are both enclosed and open field walks around me dependant on your dogs behaviour.

I am lucky that my job allows me to work from home and am therefore home most of the time to care for your fur babies. I have blocked out the occasional Saturday as I do enjoy supporting my local football team (go BWFC) so if you see a random Saturday blocked out that’s probably why however if your fur baby is fine being left then I may be able to accommodate those days. Just drop me a message!
