Pet care experience
Growing up, my family and I rescued and cared for several dogs of all ages. From beagles, huskies, german shepherds, great danes, labradors, chihuahuas, and pitbull/terrier mixes - I have experience in caring for breeds of all kinds! I have experience with potty training and crate training young pups as well as assisting senior dogs with their meds, ear/eye drops, hydrotherapy and utilizing their walking harness to make it up the stairs. Friends and coworkers have also relied on me to care after their pets, (dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and chickens), while they were away on vacation on many occasions. Overall, I'd say I have a lot of pet care experience and take real pleasure in caring for animals of all kinds.

I recognize not all pets are the same. Some require more TLC and less play time, while others need more time spent outdoors to release some of that pent-up energy. Ultimately, the way I care for your pet will be tailored to how they are treated and taken care of by no other than you, their fur parent. So depending on the service you are seeking, whether it be a walk or an overnight stay, I like to have all pets feel the most comfortable either by staying home with them or taking them on their regular walking route as pets may require some time to adjust to changes. At any rate, should you choose me as your pet's new BFF, expect to receive lots of photos and/or videos of our time together. ☺️

It is important for me to know of any special needs your furry critter(s) may require in their diet, exercise, grooming, medication(s), and overall health and well-being. Lastly, I'd like to know how they react to other animals and/or humans while on walks so I can do my best to ensure everyone's safety should they be on the "anxious" side.
A typical day
A typical day under my care includes a nice morning walk either to a local park to play some fetch or at the nearest state park for a long and adventurous hiking trail that we can all enjoy. I also have full access near me to walking trails near the beach which are enjoyable in the evenings.

Availability
Currently I am in my clinical rotations for grad school so my schedule changes every 5 weeks. From now until the end of September I will be working 10 hour shifts in the ER, 3 days out of the week, with 1 week where I'll be working the 5pm-3am shift, and on for just 1 weekend. Aside from that, I have no other personal/familial obligations or trips/vacations and am quite flexible with my availability. I can of course provide further detail regarding my schedule and such should I be so lucky as to care for your pet(s) 😁
