Pet care experience
I have worked with animals since I was a teenager. I was always the one family and friends would turn to for house sitting and pet care needs. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I enjoy taking care of just about any pet. :) I've worked in doggy day care, grooming, vet tech assistant, and I have volunteered for a couple of rescues. I currently volunteer for a shelter. I have a fur son. He's a Miniature Pinscher named Dexter. He is 1 year old and has endless energy! I have a lot of experience with senior dogs, especially those who have health issues (including but not limited to: diabetes, seizures, congestive heart failure, etc.) I am dog and cat first aid certified.

Clarissa rocks!!! She sends pictures and videos everyday, the house was cleaner than when we left, and we know the pups were well cared for. In addition, she took each dog for a walk each day - even though they have a huge yard to play in. Very, very happy with Clarissa, and would highly recommend her to anyone (except on those dates we need her ... lol).
Clarissa is the most responsible Pet sitter I have ever met. She made sure my pets were well taken care of and loved while I was out of town. She went beyond my expectations with keeping me informed with pictures and videos. I never once worried and was able to relax the entire time I was away. Clarissa ... you are wonderful!!! We can tell our pups were given tons of attention and were super comfortable and happy having you spend the weekend with them. We love how you send updates and great pictures during the day; plus, the house was kept super clean and the bonus of you even picking up all the poops in the yard. I really can’t say enough good things about Clarissa and how amazing she was. She allowed me to miss my pups while 3000 miles away from them, but not worry about them, which in turn allowed me to have an amazing trip. She was communicative, warm, respectful, understanding, flexible, and my dogs loved her! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A typical day
We will have so much fun together! Plenty of quality time together, walks, fun games, basically anything that keeps your pet happy. If boarding, during summer, we will spend a lot of time indoors but we will play nose games, puzzles, things to keep your dogs mind working so they have something to do.

Availability
I currently volunteer part-time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your beloved pets! When boarding with me, you can be sure your babies are getting around the clock care. We will love them like they are our own. They will have full access to furniture. They will be able to sleep in our beds or wherever they choose. I will not crate unless absolutely necessary. Everyone who is boarded here with get a bath and be thoroughly dried before going home, no extra charge because I want your babies going home looking and feeling their best! We do walks early in the morning or late in the evening currently due to the summer heat. If your pet is to participate in one of our walks, we expect you to bring properly fitting gear made for walking. We want our friends to be prepared and most of all SAFE! And if youre pet is used to going on walks, we definitely do not want our friends feeling left out! I also offer 30 minute drop in visits and walks to get your pent up pet some love and socialization. I do daycare as well. I follow all instructions and love meeting new furry friends!
