Personal Experience includes owning 3 full-bred Labradors as family dogs (each weighing 110lbs), and my own pitbull mix (weighing 55lbs). Walking only 2 at a time, controlling the dogs was no issue for me. Bathing, playing, and teaching my own four-legged pups was as enjoyable for me as it was for them. In raising my own puppy (who is now 1 year old), I have gone through the whole spectrum, from potty training to maintaining a steady schedule, as well as professional training with her once she was of age. Aside from taking care of my own pets, I have taken care of multiple family members' pets while they are on vacation, work leave, etc … and this is what has led me to Rover. Patience is an essential key to have when dealing with animals as we do not speak their language, however, I can proudly say that is one of my best qualities as your potential dog sitter and caretaker. I am currently a full-time college student pursuing a degree in nursing at my local community college. I am very busy in the normal fall semester (August to December) and spring semester (January to May). However, in the summer I take 1 class, so I have a lot of free time these coming summer months to spend with your fur babies and ensure all involved are happy! I always carry an extra leash and treats with me for dog walking if needed! (Treats approved by owners beforehand) If doing drop-in visits, I can easily crate your dog if desired when no one is home, and pick up any mess created by your fur babies if necessary!
