Pet care experience
Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Clarissa, a stay-at-home mom and student who's passionate about providing loving care for your furry friends. 🐶🐱 I've been a trusted pet sitter since 2015, through Rover and for friends and family for over 15 years. My own family are huge animal lovers, and we're excited to open our home to your beloved pets! Whether you need daytime drop-ins or overnight stays, I offer flexible scheduling and a comfortable, caring environment. Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities. 😊 New to Rover? Just ask me about my promo code for $20 off your first stay! Feel free to message me with any questions – I'm happy to chat and learn more about your pet's individual needs. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
Reviews

My bunny Mochi had another good stay with Clarissa. As usual Clarissa is very quick to reply to messages. Clarissa updated me every day on how Mochi was doing and sent me pictures throughout the week he stayed at her house. Would highly recommend Clarissa as your pet’s sitter.

She was so wonderful to accept Beanie so last minute after our sitter had cancelled on us. She kept us updated with how she was doing and Beanie seemed so happy when we picked her up. So many thanks to Clarissa!

Communicates very well! My dog got along with her dog! He had a blast and will be returning! Clarissa is very caring and you can tell she loves dogs! My zoro will be retuning to hangout with his best friend there :)

Great communication, and very flexible with pick up and drop. My dog looked so happy in the updates. will defiently use her again

Safety, trust & environment
For pet sitting in my home: Safety First: "My fenced yard is regularly checked for any hazards, and I supervise all outdoor playtime to keep everyone safe. My dog, Milo, is very friendly and loves to play, but I'll always supervise their interactions to ensure everyone gets along." Comfort and Enrichment: "Inside, your pet will have plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. I provide cozy bedding and engaging toys to keep them entertained. We'll also enjoy plenty of playtime and cuddles, just like they're used to at home." Individualized Care: "I'm happy to follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs they may have." For pet sitting in the client's home: Respect and Responsibility: "I understand that your home is your pet's safe space. I will treat it with the utmost respect, following your instructions for alarm systems, cleaning up after your pet, and maintaining their usual routine." Peace of Mind: "While I'm there, I can also take care of tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, and rotating lights to give your home a lived-in look while you're away." Communication is Key: "I believe in regular communication, so I'll send you text or photo updates so you can see how your furry friend is doing."

Information Clarissa A. would like to know about your pet
Hey, just letting you know, I'd love to learn a bit more about your pets before we get together. What's their feeding schedule like? Are they crate trained? How do they typically act around new people? (Friendly, shy, etc.) This helps me know what to expect and how to best interact with them." I ask about being crate trained because at nights and when I step out I can not leave the dogs out and about.
A typical day
A typical day is filled with fun activities like playtime! My kids and I absolutely love playing with furry friends. We'll shower your pet with lots of love and cuddles throughout the day. If you're comfortable, we can also go for walks around our neighborhood.
