I've never met a dog I didn't like, but I know that every dog is different and they all have their own personalities. My experience growing up with both cats and dogs and taking care of them has taught me that you need to socialize your pets and develop a relationship where you respect the animal and it respects you. That takes time and attention to detail. For example, not all dogs were meant to run-- and some smaller dogs can feel inadequate if they are not given equal or more attention than their larger friends. I learned this while working as a personal dog-sitter for a celebrity who had three large dogs. Routines are important for the dogs and the owners, and customization and care is key.
