I have had many years of experience taking care of animals that include mine, family members, and friends. I have my veterinary assistant certificate and I am currently a veterinary assistant at a pet hospital. I have years of professional experience from schooling, internship, and being a full time employee at a pet hospital. I have many years previous of personal experience. I am very passionate for all animals and want to continue caring for animals as a long term career.

Clarissa was fantastic! She stayed at our home to watch our two dogs. Our home was neat and tidy when we returned just as we left it. I don’t do boarding however depending on your pets needs and my schedule I will stay with the pet for as long as needed. As a veterinary assistant I am good with administering medications and knowing signs of when pets are stressed or in pain. If your pet has special needs I can do my best to accommodate them to you and your pets liking. I work with all types of cats and dogs so I have no problem with sizes or breeds.

Please let me know about any needs your pet may have. I am comfortable with just about any type of need, administering medications, breeds, and sizes. I am a veterinary professional so I see all types of personalities, behaviors, and medical conditions.
A typical day
I will do daily enrichment such as walks, playing outdoors and if allowed taking them to pet friendly stores or outings. Our pets love adventures and new exciting things as much as we do. I like to play music for the animals in my care and sometimes dance with them. Most enjoy dancing to music with me. If your pet requires more of a calming presence I can accommodate to that as well. Some pets don’t always prefer to play a lot and need low stimulation. I am flexible to whatever you and your pet wants and needs.
