From growing up on a farm with ten dogs, to having four canine companions of my own now, I have over 20 years of experience caring for 4 legged creatures of all stripes. I’m available for dog walking, drop in visits and select in-home sitting. I pride myself on having a solid understanding of dog behavior and body language. I have taken courses in positive-reinforcement dog training, so I understand why dogs do what they do, and how to encourage behaviors we like and discourage those that we don't. I also care very much about letting dogs be dogs- that is, allowing them to express their natural and healthy behaviors in a way that is harmonious with living in our world. I'm always attentive and aware of animals’ needs. I know how to read dog body language and can tell when dogs are comfortable and or content, or if they need a change in environment. I am vigilant in maintaining the safety of my pack in all situations and can assure the same for any animals in my care.
