Pet care experience
(Please note I am currently travelling and will be available from May 3rd) What you can expect from me ☺️ A full meet and greet at my home before booking. A home from home experience, your rules are my rules so your pet won’t come home with any bad habits ☺️ Two hours walk per day (unless specified otherwise) Playtime in the garden, Snuggles on the sofa (unless they are not allowed on furniture) Socialising play dates with other doggies ( unless specified otherwise) Pictures and videos every day throughout their stay. And full peace of mind for you knowing I am fully insured with plenty of experience of dog care and behaviours. All dogs in my care are treated like my own pets ❤️ I have always cared for animals, working on a farm when I was 9 years old. We have always had dogs and lots of other pets throughout my entire life. I often look after my friends pets when they go on holiday as they know I love nothing more than a a snuggle on the sofa with my fury friend and a lovely long country walk. I don’t have a dog but I do occasionally have my brothers dog when he is in the office. If you prefer your dog to not be around another dog please do let me know so I can arrange to walk Luna separately. My back garden has 12 foot hedges with chicken wire underneath. I also have two gates either side of the garden so there is a small run for toilet breaks.

Roxy has loved her stay with Clare! She has been taken to so many lovely places and had a great time socialising with other dogs. Clare regularly sent photos and videos to give me piece of mind. Simply the best! We cannot thank Clare enough for taking Rice on a very short notice as our current dog sitter when we were on holiday had an emergency and cannot take care of our boy. Clare came to the rescue (without even meeting our boy yet) She kept sending photos and videos which made us happy! If you need someone special to take care of fur babies, Look no further, Clare is the best! Thank you again😊

My back garden is secure so your pet can have some free time in the garden for toilet breaks when we are not out on walks. I allow pets on my furniture but if you have a rule in place that does not allow this at home please let me know so I can follow your guidelines. I understand we all have our own rules with our pets of do’s and don’ts so I will be happy to follow your plan. I welcome all friendly and house trained pets into my home. If you have a puppy I am happy to accommodate as long as house training is underway. I do not accept females in season. I find dogs are usually more comfortable in their own beds so please feel free to bring their dog bed along. Failing that I do have a dog bed here suitable for a small/medium dog. I also have a medium size crate which is available to use so you don’t have to struggle bringing your own. If I feel your dog is not suitable please do not be offended I always put the dogs safety first so never accept a pet that I feel I could not take adequate care of (for example if they are too strong for me to manage on a lead)

Please let me know if your dog has any additional needs. One of my dogs that has now passed had epilepsy so I am aware some dogs have additional needs that need to be catered for. Please specify if your dog is ok with other dogs. I do have Luna from time to time so it would be best to know in advance so I can arrange alternative arrangements/ separate walks etc.
A typical day
I live just a short walk to wythenshawe park which is a huge park full of lovely large fields for your dog to play around. I love to go on adventures out in the car to style woods and Alderley edge. When I have Luna we often take a short drive to style as she loves to swim and play in the river. I go walking with a group so this is a fab time for your pet to have some social interaction with other dogs ☺️

Availability
I run my own business and work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I will be out of the house from time to time for meetings etc but your dog will never be left for extensive periods. I walk everyday, there is a beautiful park situated a five min walk from my home. Your dog will be walked at least twice a day. When the weather is hot I walk early in the morning and late evening to avoid extensive heat. I take water with me on our walk. I have a cooling mat which brings their body temperature back to normal and a doggy paddle pool with a sprinkler. I also drive and I have a doggy seat belt in the back to ensure pets in my care are safe when we travel. I will send you lots of daily updates and photographs of your pet to show you all the fun we are having whilst you’re away!
