I'm the type of person that will sit (or lay) on the floor at a cocktail party with the host's dog. I've walked neighbors', friends', and families' dogs my whole life and dog sat last summer; I was in charge of administering 2 pills daily to the pup orally. My border collie is truly my best friend; we do everything together, from kayaking and hiking to snuggling on the couch while watching TV. Chase has long black fur, so over the years I've developed quite the eye and feel for ticks. My skills include both walking and running with dogs, tick-checks, towel-offs, and giving really good scratches behind the ear. I'm used to energetic dogs and puppies that jump and nip. I have both at-home and walking experience with skittish rescue dogs; I also have experience walking multiple dogs at a time. I'm more than happy to do long walks, up to 2 hours as I recognize that sometimes 30 minutes is not enough for an energetic pup like mine!
