August 2021 update: Thank you for your business! I will be very limited in my availability due to personal life events, so I have cut back on my dog sitting significantly. I will be doing drop ins and walks only. Thank you for understanding! Please reach out in the event of an emergency, if need be. I've had dogs since I was about 6 years old, and my dad has been training dogs for decades. Because of this, I have a lot of experience with pups both young and old. I also know how it feels to have to find care for your furry friends while you go away. And I’d be happy to make sure you can travel with a peaceful mind by taking care of your pups. I fully believe that a happy dog is key to a happy life. I have no issues cleaning up after, playing with, helping with training, and entertaining your dog(s) and cat(s). Thank you! Clare stepped in for us at the last moment, and took such good care of our girl! She can be a bit of an energetic handful, especially around strangers, and Clare wasn’t fazed a bit. Clare was timely, responsible and was sure to send photos for this overly anxious “mom”. We can’t thank her enough!

Clare was awesome! My dogs loved her, she was patient with them and always gave me updates. I never worried when we were gone even though my dogs are like my babies. She took great care of them and will definitely be using her in the future!

It would be great to know general temperament, special routines (including their usual bathroom schedule), current medical issues/medications, and their preferred walk schedule/path. I believe most dogs are comfortable with their daily routines, and I'll strive to match that as best as I can.
A typical day
All dogs (and cats!) need love and play, in my opinion. I love taking dogs for walks, playing catch/fetch, and the good ol' tug of war. Any activity that your dog or cat love will be on the agenda!

Availability
I work from 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday, in Dover, but I would be able to check on your pup before and after work, and possibly on my lunch break (depending on your location). However, as I currently live in a small apartment with two cats who aren't too keen on dogs or surprise company, I cannot board any animals at this time. Please note, I'd prefer to be contacted at least 2 weeks before you need my services. It will make scheduling my life a lot easier! Of course, I will be willing to make exceptions for emergencies if I can.
