Pet care experience
I started pet-sitting when I was about 11 years old and have continued pet-sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and roommates over the years. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, and rodents. I've administered medication, cared for newborn animals, and have even had to safely evacuate two dogs and two kittens from a home this past summer where I was pet-sitting due to wildfire. I've always adored animals and have gotten my bachelors degree in zoology and masters in wildlife conservation ecology. I'd love the opportunity to care for your beloved animals!

Clare was a fantastic rover! She walked our dog Poppy for an hour during the day while my husband and I were skiing in Tahoe. Poppy can be a little hesitant meeting new people, but Clare was so friendly and Poppy warmed up immediately. Poppy had an absolute blast running around in the snow with Clare's dog. Clare was super easy to communicate with and flexible when our plans changed last minute. Thank you, Clare!
Clare is one of the few people I trust with my dog. She is knowledgeable and has the experience that makes her a trusted sitter for your animals. Clare has been my #1 pick when needing a care taker for my dog.
Clare watched my dog several times and I can't say enough good things about her! I found her to be responsible, extremely caring and patient with my dog. She sent me updates with pictures frequently and took my dog on fun outings. I have a hound/border collie mix who needs a lot of baseline exercise each day, Clare made sure he got that as well as all his other high maintenance daily activities. I wish I still lived close to her!
Clare and I have traded pet sitting and dog walking for the past 3 years, and she is by far the person I trust the most to be in my home and take care of my beloved babies!! I have four cats, one is elderly with special medical needs, and Clare has always been so loving and attentive with all of them. I have also walked dogs with Clare, including seeing her interact with and train her own pup with incredible patience, positivity, and clear knowledge of dog behavior. Clare really understands the needs of each animal she takes care of, she has always been excellent at communicating with me, and I absolutely recommend her to anyone!!!

House/pet-sitting: I have a friendly three-year-old dog that is good with other dogs and cats! I'm happy to do overnight stays if your dog(s) or cat(s) are okay with her accompanying me. She's submissive and playful and respects when other dogs are not in play-mode. She's happy to be around dogs of all ages.
