Pet care experience
Your peace of mind is my priority : 🐶 Fully qualified veterinary nurse with 25+ years experience 🐶 Services backed by full insurance 🐶 Enhanced DBS certificate holder 🐶 First aider with comprehensive kit available 🐶 Premises fully licensed and inspected by council 🐶 Exclusive bookings - your pet will not be mixed with other households 🐶 Special diets and medication catered for 🐶 Nail clipping and other services available on request I have kept dogs and cats all my life. I am a qualified veterinary nurse with many years experience so I am happy to look after pets needing medication, insulin injections, post op care and other specialist care. I have looked after family and friends pets and fostered many strays too over the years. My home is pet friendly and I live close to beaches, parks and woodland for a variety of enjoyable dog walks. The whole family are used to dogs and cats, and will give lots of fuss and attention to any pets staying with us.
Reviews
So great to have Clare look after my dogs while I was away. Lots of photos sent & messages that were gratefully received. On my return Clare had left a gift for the dogs & a daily diary of walks etc.
Missy stayed with Clare this weekend. It was so nice to know she was being looked after so well. I loved the photos that were sent to me during the weekend. I have already made future bookings Thank you so much Clare
Thank you for visiting !! Glad they were good for you and you were great as always
Amazing service, Clare kept in touch with us by regular photos of Bailey during his stay. Will definitely use again and recommend to others. Thank you Clare, x

My garden is compact but safely enclosed by a high solid stone wall and has a gate which opens out onto a quiet access lane. I can offer crates for small or medium dogs or cats, or you are welcome to bring your own. I have a stair gate installed to prevent arthritic dogs or those recovering from surgery from bounding up and down stairs. All my pets are up to date with their vaccines, flea and worm medications and my house is regularly treated with an environmental spray so you can relax in the knowledge that your pets will not be at risk when staying in my home. I have a fully stocked first aid kit and can cope with many minor mishaps that occur routinely with keeping animals such as a broken nail or a graze out on a walk but I always contact you first to explain what is happening. I have installed a pet cam - please enquire if you would like access to the footage. I will provide plenty of notes, photos and videos of your pet's stay so that you know exactly how they have been and what activities they have enjoyed

Information Clare O. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any behaviours or special needs so that I can work with you to give them the best experience possible. I will need to understand their normal routine at home so that I can stick to that as much as possible including meal times and diet, if they can have treats, and if they are allowed on furniture at home. Any treatments that have been prescribed by a vet will need to be discussed before their stay eg time of insulin injections. If dropping your pet at my house I have permit parking outside my house, please ask to use the visitors permit which enables you to park anywhere along the street.
A typical day
If you have a high energy dog that's no problem! I will offer plenty of variety of walkies with different sniffs, places to run, fetch and swim. Pembrey Park is a particular favourite with its mix of woodland, beaches and open spaces. I have an enclosed garden space for frequent playing outside and a dedicated dog digging area and on hot days we get out a paddling pool. Inside I use a range of puzzle toys and feeding mats to keep the dogs entertained and work those brains and of course you can bring along their favourite boredom busters too.

Availability
I work part time and my children are adult students, so there is nearly always someone at home with all the animals, and they are not left alone. I am also a part time student so much of my spare time is spent at home doing uni work around the needs of my pets and the commitments of my pet sitting business. We are a family that love our home life and prefer dog walks to parties - our animals are our number one priority!
