I love animals! I have three cats and two birds of my own and am frequently called upon by friends to dog sit when they travel. Can't wait to meet your Santa Clarita pets!

Clare Marie has spent several years of her life taking care of three cats, several chickens, and a potbellied pig that eventually grew to the size and temperament of a Harley-Davidson, mostly by herself. She can be relied upon to care for your animal's needs, figure out what makes it the most comfortable or happy, and give it the attention it needs. Clare loves animals of all shapes and most sizes (bugs are debatable), especially birds - she and I have spent many happy hours watching, talking about, and finding birds with each other. All of her pets have very different personalities and needs, including medical needs, and Clare is excellent at ministering to all of them and making sure that they are well cared for. I can enthusiastically recommend Clare as a caretaker for other people's pets as well.
CM is thoughtful and caring. She comes over to watch my dog while we are away at work and each time she has always done a stellar job. She follows instructions well for feeding routines and spends quality time with our pet. You would love to have CM take care of your animal.

I'm happy to text photos during my visit! I'll introduce myself to your pets gently, and provide them with everything we've agreed upon beforehand. Plus, lots of petting, praise, and enthusiasm! I will never feed your pet anything you did not explicitly tell me was ok beforehand!

Please provide detailed instructions on what your pets need, such as: -- favorite routes for walks/favorite games -- how much contact they like with humans -- personality type/energy level -- where items are located (leash, baggies, food, cleaning supplies, etc) -- what they are/are not allowed to do/off-limits areas in home -- how much each pet should eat/approved treats -- pertinent medical information/allergies -- any words/commands they know -- any "quirks" I should know about ;)
A typical day
Let's wear that pupper out with a good walk or game of fetch. If they're more of a snuggler, I'm happy to offer gentle play and companionship. Do they want to practice new commands they've learned? Have a favorite treat? You tell me! For the kitties, do they like to be brushed or pet? Do they like dangly toys and laser pointers? Or would they prefer a stress-free visit with a litter cleaning and feeding and minimal interaction? I've got my own cats that fall into each category, so I can happy accommodate all of the above!
