When it comes to caring for animals, I’ve never met a person more responsible and loving than Clare. She really sees them as precious living companions, worthy of dignity, respect and love. She is friendly, gentle and kind to them. Clare points out dogs she knows as we drive by the dog park. She can identify any and all dog breeds at first sight. If ever we are watching a movie and there’s a dog in it, she demands to know if the dog character dies so she can cover her eyes for that part. She loves the curious personality of cats, admires their beauty and relishes earning their respect and affection. When she gains the trust of a cat, she feels as excited as a kid who just made a new friend at school. Clare is the best person I know, and being with her is a blessing to any person or pet.

Clare just has a way with animals. I've literally never seen her let a snout go unkissed or an ear go unscratched, and it's clear they all adore her just as much as she adores them. Whenever I'm going out of town and can't bring my dog Poppy along, Clare is my first call. I know they're going to have a ton of fun together, and she's always amazing about sending me pictures of everything from their walks to cozy times snuggled up on the couch. Honestly, Clare is just a wonderful person. She's got this warmth and kindness about her that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Getting to know her, you quickly realize she's one of those rare, genuine souls who you can fully trust to love and care for your pets as if they were her own.
