I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. Of all shapes and sizes. My best friend was a Golden Retriever. Since then I’ve cared for my family rescue Greyhound and rescued King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. I’ve rented with friends, 2 having 3 spaniels between them. I’ve looked after them solo, had them board with me while they were on holiday and given them their medication, baths, walks and cuddles. I’ve also taken them to the vets when needed. I have also taken in friends dogs when they’ve been away and looked after puppies. Im at my happiest surrounded by animals. I’ve volunteered at a dog rescue in Bali for a couple of months over Xmas and New Year; rescuing dogs from the active volcano. I’ve worked with dogs with trauma, aggressive behavioural issues and lots of crazy puppies! I have a kitten who is tolerant of dogs and is under my watchful eye at all times. He also understands he may be demoted to the kitchen overnight and give up my bed if there’s a furry guest in the house.
