Pet care experience
I have had personal pets of dogs, cats, cattle, and horses throughout my whole life, I grew up on a small farm! I also just finished my Animal Science bachelor degree from K-State so I am very knowledgable on animal science. I have worked for a vet clinic the past 5 summers and have lots of experience with everything from training of puppies to intense senior care. Throughout college, I have dog sat/house sat often for friends and a few different families and really enjoyed it! I begin veterinary school this fall at K-State! My future career is treating and loving pets. I love spending my days with animals!

Clare has watched my two dogs, Penny (3yo corgi) and Rey (2yo border collie) on many occasions. I can always count on her to follow the instructions I leave for her. My dogs have very different routines during the day and she makes sure to treat them like individuals. For example, my collie needs much more interactive time during the day and Clare will be sure to play fetch and take walks with her. My corgi is more emotional when I’m gone and needs more chill bonding time which Clare provides for her as well. She truly cares about making sure my dogs are happy, safe, and being loved on while I’m away.
Clare is hands down one of our very favorites! She has house sat for us taking excellent care of our horses, dogs and cats. She updates us with photos, never hesitates to reach out if she has questions and our dogs are so happy to see her when she comes back. I would highly recommend Clare to take care of any animals.

A typical day
I love to go on walks and explore new parks in the area! However, I am happy to do whatever activity the dog I have enjoys to do. I am flexible and want to make them happy!

Availability
I currently do not have a job for the summer and so I am very free. Playing with/taking care of animals is something I LOVE! I hope to carry over this job when I start vet school!
