Hello! My husband Harrison and I just bought our first home in the Cooper neighborhood in Minneapolis, and our dog Finn is looking forward to sharing his big backyard with some new friends! I'm a software engineer and Harrison is a grad student at the UofM. We both work most out of the house during the week so we are looking to host pups who are crate-trained (a must), housebroken, and do ok staying home by themselves. We do make sure Finn gets plenty of time outside to do his business and get some energy out before we leave and after we get home. We are also always home every weekend and love to go for walks by the Mississippi and take Finn to the dog park. Finn is a 4 year old cattle dog/whippet mix who is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He has never met a dog he doesn't like and would love to have some friends to run around the backyard with. We strive for a good balance between providing a disciplined and fun environment: Finn loves going to classes at the Canine Coach, learning new tricks, and working on good behavior, because he's never met a treat he doesn't like :) We are super flexible to accommodating dogs with different energy levels and activity preferences. Let us know if your dog likes going for walks, spending time at the dog park, playing fetch in the backyard, or just lounging on the couch. We also have tons of toys and treats and would love to help your pup work on specific skills using positive reinforcement. Our preferred drop-off and pick-up windows are between 8–9:30am and 6–10pm (let us know if this doesn't work for you and we can figure something out).
