Pet care experience
I've always loved helping, nurturing, and caring for others, including friends, family, children, and animals! I've taken care of goats, pigs, birds, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and, of course, dogs. I love playing with puppies and trying to tire them out or attending to senior dogs who really just want someone to give them scratches. I've dealt with big dogs (Great Dane and Mastiffs) and small dogs (chihuahua mixes) alike! If I'm at a friend's house, you can find me with a toy or ball in my hand, playing with their pooch.

I always listen closely to the instructions I am given by my clients, especially in regards to feeding and medication (if applicable). When I've stayed at someone's home, I always leave the house just as when I arrived. I love hiking, so I'm especially fond of taking dogs out to explore in nature, but I'll always adjust to the dog's level of energy. My senior dog prefers sniffing every unturned leaf over strenuous exercise, so slow walks in flat areas are just what she likes.

Besides the basics, such as level of energy, medication, or feeding, it is very helpful to inform me about your dog's behavior so that I can account for it. For example, if your dog will whine when he/she needs to use the bathroom, then that is perfect information to let me know so we can avoid accidents!
A typical day
I love exploring local parks and nature preserves with a doggie companion by my side! Our local dog park is an excellent place for dogs to socialize, but when I have the time, I prefer to bring them to Stinson Beach for some all-day fun!

I'm a full-time student with a very flexible schedule! I babysit on the weekends, but all of my classes are online and most of my school work is asynchronous, so caring for your pup will fit right in.
