Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Clara and like probably (and hopefully) everyone here, I love dogs. On top of growing up with lots of big dogs (mostly labs and mutts), I have a crazy lab of my own, which has given me lots of experience on young/big dogs. Ellington, my almost 9-year old chocolate lab, is a big baby who loves all dogs and matches his playmates' energy. As a puppy, he had his fair share of behavioral issues, which we have worked on. Because of that, I am very comfortable with dogs that jump, pull, bark, etc and can handle myself well with a variety of pups!

Clara responded to a last minute request for a house sitter over the weekend. She is responsible, personable and clearly has a passion for pets. I have 2 dogs and my little one has anxiety towards strangers. Their connection was immediate and I was able to leave my pets and my home in her care in confidence. Clara was great at sending pics and very responsive while I was away. I will definitely have Clara house/pet sit for me in the future and I highly recommend you do the same.
Clara was a great sitter for my dog Trooper while we were away for 10 days. She is very competent with big dogs and has a big dog herself, which made me feel very comfortable. I was amazed that she was able to introduce them and they became friends quickly, which is unusual since my dog typically doesn't get along with other dogs. She sent photos and videos of my dog along with updates by text and she even did some extra things for me around my house, which was awesome! A great communicator and a wonderful pet sitter. I will definitely book Clara again!
