I absolutely love pets and have over 10 years of experience with let sitting/ dog walking! I'm unable to have a pet at home due to my partner's allergies- so by caring for your pet I can get my daily needed dose for time with a furry friend while also giving your pet attentive care and companionship! I can come into your home to care for your pet, but I also love to walk, hike, and run with dogs outdoors.

I would trust Clara to watch my pets above anyone else. I have known her for over 15 years. She has always been kind and loving towards my animals. She is a trustworthy and honest person. I have lots of rules on how my dog gets to behave around the house and other people and I would trust Clara 100% to enforce those rules and take care of my dog to my standards. That’s something that I can’t say about most of my other friends and even family members. I would 100% recommend her!!

I'd like to know how your pet responds to other pets and people so they can have the best experiences on our walks. It's helpful for me to know what they love, what their habits are, and what makes them nervous so that I can ensure they have the best experience possible. If we go on a walk, I'd like to know what level of leash training they have so everyone is comfortable when going on our outdoor adventures.
A typical day
We will usually walk in the neighborhood, where things are comfortable and familiar. If your dog is adventurous and comfortable on the leash, we can go to the local park, the bosque, dog parks, or the foothills with parent permission. For dogs who like to play and get their wiggles out, I am up for running, hiking, or tossing a ball in gated, safe areas (also with parent permission of course).

Availability
I currently work as a social worker 9-5 Monday through Friday with some flexibility to my schedule. This means I can care for your pet between 5am-9am and 5:30pm-10pm on weekdays. Other times (Including weekend times) will depend on the day/week.
