I have always had a special way with dogs. I am gentle and calm and they warm up to me instantly. In the past, the dogs that I have dogsitted refused to leave my side. I had a shitsu who jumped into my lap and wanted to be held all the time; I had a 105 pound lab that would throw himself into my lap while I was on the couch or on the computer, and a deerlike greyhound that followed me everywhere I went, including to the bathroom. I started dog sitting when I was in college, and transitioned to becoming a dog owner about four years ago. I have a very sweet lab mix who loves to be around other dogs. I live alone and work from home so it's very easy for me to take care of your dog during the day. My apartment is two bedrooms on the ground level, and its surrounded by green space and walking paths that are out of the way of traffic. There are multiple parks within walking distance.
