Hello, I'm Clara and I'm very excited to care for your pup! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and whole-heartedly believe there is a special place in heaven for them. While I am unable to have my own dog at the moment, I fill that void by caring for other people's! I am a very active person so I am happy to take your dogs on long walks, hikes, runs, or to play in the park. I have a lot of experience caring for friends' dogs when they've been out of town and caring for my roommate's dog, an incredibly sweet Australian cattle mix named Atticus. I want to instill trust, comfort and confidence in owners that their best friend is in good hands, so that when you come home your dog has a big smile on their face :)

Tell me about you pup! Is your pet a leash-puller, does he have separation anxiety, any medication or behaviors I should be aware of, allergies? I want to know all about them so that I can do my best in giving them the care they need and you expect. I love all size dogs with big personalities, but my ultimate favorite dog is a wired haired dachshund since I had 3 different ones growing up! (If you're not familiar with the breed you should google them, you will not be disappointed!)
A typical day
My services are catered to you and your dog. Every dog is different and I want to provide individualized care. While some might need slow and calm walks due to their arthritis, some might need brisk runs or hikes to spend their energy. I am happy to run around a park and play fetch but also to sit patiently and lovingly with a dog that prefers that. I will also bathe your dog if you'd like so they can be nice and fluffy and fresh smelling when you get home!
