Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Clara! Just finished law school and moved to Portland to be closer to family. I’ve been pet-sitting since I was a kid- both taking dogs on walks and staying overnight at people's homes to care for their cats and dogs. Over the years, I've cared for dozens of pets- even for guinea pigs, hamsters, and goldfish! I'm also a runner so if you have a very active pet, even better. I love to take long walks and be outside but also play indoors to make sure your pet gets the attention they need. I'll make sure your pet is well cared for and doesn't miss you too much while you're gone :)

Clara does a great job! I’ve hired her daily this week and she has always been on time, given me great updates, and certainly made my puppy happy! Gave me great comfort on my first week leaving the dog at home all day that she was well taken care of.
Clara took great care of our cat, Thompson, while we were out of town for a few days. She was great about coming to meet us and Thompson before we left, which made me feel great since this was my first time using Rover. We will definitely be using her while she’s in Ann Arbor. :) Thanks, Clara!

I live in a one bedroom apartment that is pet friendly with lots of nearby parks and safe sidewalks. I also am experienced with clients leaving keys discretely for me outside their homes and being extremely courteous inside their homes.

For example, it is helpful to know if your dog likes to jump on people, if they don't get along well with other dogs, or if they have a health condition.
A typical day
I love walks in nearby parks, runs if the dog is up for it, and general play sessions! I also love using their favorite toys to ensure they have the most fun possible.

My schedule is very flexible, including on weekends and holidays. I generally prefer visits in the morning or evenings but I can work around you!
