Experienced animal lovers!
My love for animals began with my own family, as we always had at least 2 dogs, a cat, and occasionally chickens, turtles, and hamsters. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs big and small, old and young, including German Shepards, Rottweilers, Great Danes, golden retrievers, pitbulls, boxers, and pugs. I began house-sitting and dog-sitting in high school and have continued to do so ever since. I love this job and would be thrilled to help keep your pets happy and safe:) Ps. My partner Alice also has extensive experience with animals and has housesat, and dog walked with me many times. If you are comfortable, she would love to help as well, and we could offer your pets 2 sitters for the price of 1 :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience walking dogs with various levels of training and am confident that I can keep them safe and get them their exercise regardless of their leash-walking skills. Similarly, I am happy to follow whatever safety practices you are comfortable with at home. I have house-sat dogs who are crate-trained and those who aren't, and dogs with varying levels of comfort/reactivity with other dogs or new people

Clancy and Alice are the best! Their communication, attention to detail, judgement, and thoughtfulness really made us feel comfortable while we were away from our pups. Smitty has some quirks and Clancy was so patient while meeting him for the first time. Our house was clean and cared for and our dogs were happy! I would recommend Clancy and Alice to anyone!!

Schedule
I (Clancy) work a Hybrid job. I usually work Mondays and Fridays from home so long weekend trips are easy for us to cover! If you're looking for weekday sitting we might only be appropriate for animals who can be left alone for most the day. With some notice I can request another virtual day if necessary. We want to take the best care possible of your animals! Just let us know what you need in advance in terms of number of walks/potty breaks a day and we can make it work:) I’m based in Logan Square but happy to travel to you!
