Hi, my name is Claire and my husband calls our house the dog park;) When I was a teenager I had my own dog walking service and I also raised guide dogs (and just started again raising guide dogs:) I have been dog sitting on and off for the last 15 years. I spent 10 years volunteering for a large dog rescue and have lots of experience in large breed dogs. I have seen a dog bloat (and saved him) and done numerous ACL tear rehabs. When my turtle was sick I got it shots. I have my vets personal number on speed dial;) I have a large fenced yard that my dogs enjoy sunbathing in while taking breaks from the sun to lounge on the couch;) You can say that animals run my life. Most dogs dont want to leave after a stay with me:) One of my dogs can be reserved around people so during meet and greets they will be in a separate room, but he is great with other dogs;) I do have a 4 year old daughter and a 8 year old son as well;)

Mochi stayed with Claire and her family for a little over 2 weeks while my husband and I traveled abroad on our honeymoon. This was our first time leaving Mochi for that long so we were a bit nervous but knowing how much experience Claire has with dogs (and genuine love for them!) made us feel at ease. Everything went well and we didn’t have to worry at all during our trip. Thank you, Claire, for taking such great care of Mochi for 16 days! We’ll definitely be back :)
Claire is the best! Our Rocky was so well taken care of and came home healthy, happy and exhausted from so much playtime with other pooches! He was in hound heaven! Thanks to Claire for keeping us up to date and easing our minds during our travels.
Mochi had a great time! We will be leaving our dog Mochi with Claire for over 2 weeks in January. Because it’ll be such a long stay, we wanted to make sure it was a good fit so we did an overnight trial and it went well! Claire is super friendly and personable and you can tell she has a genuine love for dogs and a lot of experience with them. Even just from our brief interactions I already feel comfortable leaving Mochi with her while my husband and I go on our honeymoon. Plus, I could tell Mochi had a lot of fun playing with the other dogs in the house - I’m sure she is excited to go back soon! :)
