I am proud to be the "crazy dog lady." I've been a professional dog walker for the past 7 years- my dream job! I am the shelter trainer and a board member of the Humane Society of the North Bay. I am a professional, positive reinforcement (no shock collars!) dog trainer in addition to working at my vet for 5 years. I'm passionate about dog rescue and have volunteered at rescues in the US, France, Guatemala and Peru over the span of 12 years. I would love to take care of your pet- whether it be walks, visits, or overnight care! I love all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I partner loving care with structured care, catering to your dogs needs while being responsible, compassionate, and fun! Upon request I am happy to include small training sessions with your dog to learn a new trick or two- or just basic manners! :)

Claire was so attentive with photos and summaries for each check-in. She really put our ‘leaving the dog’ guilt at ease and we came home to a happy, healthy pup!
Claire was wonderful in caring for Oliver, our 8 yr old springer spaniel!! She obviously knows how to care for dogs but, as importnat, was very attentive to the details, especially responding to Oliver's "routines" which are important to him. She sent us photos (daily!) and a video while we were away which was a great comfort. No question, I look forward to working with Claire again!
Claire is a skilled, flexible and dependable woman. She is punctual and all loving business with my Greyhound, Robbie. I have full confidence in her handling abilities. Robbie loves his daily walks with her. We are grateful for her presence in our lives and so very lucky to have found her!
I'm so happy to have found Claire to help us with pet sitting and walking our 4 dogs. My dogs loved her and I could tell she loved our dogs too. She was awesome at walking the 4 of them together (we have 2 big and 2 small dogs) and sending pics and comments every day. I was calm and at ease because I knew my dogs were in good hands.
