Hi there! My name is Claire, and I’m a work-from-home cellist and teacher. I went to Yale University for my undergrad and majored in Psychology, and earned a Master’s in Cello Performance from the Jacob’s School of Music at Indiana University. I play with the symphony here in Charleston, SC! I’ve had a lifelong love of animals, and my 22 year old Senegal parrot can attest to that. I’ve taken care of pets in various paid and unpaid positions (including 3 years of dog and home sitting during grad school), and I always feel like I get more out of the exchange than the owners do! Pet sitting is a true win-win for me; I get some much needed snuggle time, and you get the peace of mind knowing that I’m taking care of your floofs and home just as lovingly as you would. I work mainly from home and occasionally go to work downtown for the symphony, never more than 2.5 hours away from my home. I find it to be an easy balance and the majority of weeks am home full-time. I keep a tidy and cozy home and will welcome your pet with open arms. I love to snuggle & make sure each pet feels loved and safe.
