Hey, my name is Claire! I am very passionate about dogs and their well being. Growing up I would always help my mom take care of our dogs so early on I learned what a large responsibility having a dog is. I used to work for a dog sitting business back when I lived in NY for about 5 years and then when I moved to Seattle I worked at a doggy day care for about a year and a half. Now that I am working at UW and no longer sitting dogs I miss it a lot so I thought being a pet sitter on Rover would be the perfect fit. I have one dog, Amelia, who is very good with other dogs, just very submissive, who would love to hangout with your pup too! I look forward to giving your pup the best vacation ever.

Claire was incredible, she sent so many pictures it made me feel like I was still there with my pup. She clearly cares a lot about dogs and she went above and beyond to be sure my dog would be comfortable and happy while staying with her. I would choose her as a dog sitter again in a heartbeat.
Excellent time with my pup! Lots of attention and care shown, and could be seen how stress free my dog was when i got back. He clearly felt right at home, and that's saying a lot given his general issues with stress and anxiety. Thanks a lot Claire!
Claire is awesome! She is always so friendly and great with Pickle! More than that, she's super flexible and great with communication. She has definitely saved me with some last minute approvals because of my chaotic schedule and she is super willing to work with you on drop off/pick up times!
Claire is excellent with pets! When she watched my dog, she had an instant connection. She’s loving and caring. I actually learned some things from her on being a good pet owner. I could tell my dog had a great stay. I would recommend Claire to anyone!

I currently work remotely for the University of Washington full time. I take my dog out about 4 or 5 times a day for at least 20 minutes each time.
