Pet care experience
I know how much you hate being away from your dog and I will do my very best to brighten their day while I am visiting. Let me take care of your best friend when you can't! I love playing with dogs, especially active pups. But I also don't mind just giving some attention to a lower key dog. I co-parent a rescued pit bull with my brother (I found her on the side of the road and she came right to me!) and I have a lot of experience dogsitting various breeds. I am especially comfortable with large breeds and can definitely handle one on a leash. Let me know if you are training your dog in a certain way, such as heeling during walks; I know the importance of keeping training consistent and will make sure to continue your training regimen.

Claire house-sat our 9 month old lab Mylo for a week while we were traveling, and she also dropped in for several walks leading up to our trip so Mylo could get used to her. He is an energetic pup and Claire did a great job with him, she is definitely capable with large breeds. Her no nonsense attitude also helped to keep his rambunctious nature mostly in check. What we appreciated the most was her willingness to keep his routine steady and follow our detailed instructions for how we walk him, feed him, etc. She was great about giving us updates and sending pictures. Overall we highly recommend you trust Claire with your dog!
Claire is FANTASTIC with our doggos! We’ve got one giant 6-year-old Pyrenees mix (Cohen), and a teensy little puppy (Dilly) who’s still potty training. Claire is amazing with them- she gives Dilly all the attention a young pupper requires to be well adjusted and well trained while still making sure Cohen doesn’t feel left out. The dogs loooooove her, and so do we. Highly, highly recommend!!
Claire saved the day when I had a sitter who didn't work out for me! She was great and made the process of switching sitters super easy! I got tons of photo and video confirmation that she was there, and Aura got lots of exercise :) I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be going back!
Claire took amazing care of my baby Pickle for over a week. She was really responsive and addressed all my concerns (this was my first time away). She’s sent videos and pictures and Pickle came home happy and even bigger than when I left. I would trust her with any of my kids (furry and not) and would happily leave Pickle with her again. Highly recommend!
