I have owned pets all my life, including dogs, cats, hamsters and a horse. I enjoy sharing my home with family and friends who are in need of a home away from home for their pets.

Claire was amazing with our dogs. We have a five month old puppy and she was so calm and patient with him. She sent pictures and updates everyday. I miss my dogs so much when we aren't with them, but it helped knowing that our fur babies were being well cared for and were in a safe place. Our puppy didn't want to leave her house. He kept whining and looking back when we left. They seemed right at home there, so I know that they enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking to board their dogs.
Great communicator and excellent care of my pups! Would recommend and definitely use again
Claire was so great with our beloved Blizzard. She communicated with us regularly, but not too much to interrupt our vacay. It was clear Blizzard was very happy and comfortable while staying with Claire. We will definitely reach out to Claire again if we are traveling near Myrtle Beach!
Claire is the best. She took care of Lulu (our dog) as if she was her own.

I have a female malti-poo who gets along very well with other dogs. I have a fenced yard, but never leave pets I care for unattended. I leash-walk my dog as well as others that I care for multiple times a day.

It is important for the owner to be comfortable that all of his/her pet's needs will be met. Any information that helps reach that goal is appreciated. Special instructions are always welcome , including, feed schedule, medications, walking instructions, special toys, etc.
A typical day
I enjoy walking my pets around the neighborhood. If acceptable to the owner, I also enjoy taking them to the beach for walks. I have lots of play toys in my house and use them to play with my dog.

Availability
I am retired, and when I am not traveling I am home every day. I volunteer with an equine assisted therapy program and am active in sports, but these activities do not take me away from home longer than 3 hours at a stretch.
