Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my entire life (typically three at a time!) and I am very familiar with different breeds and comfortable with different types of dogs. I am currently in grad school and miss my furry friends at home and am looking to fill their absence by caring for other dogs. I love to take my dogs on long nature walks (and cuddle with them) and would love to do the same with yours! My availability is open and flexible. I am a very active person so I can go on frequent walks but also am very flexible to adapt to your dogs needs! As a life-long dog and pet owner, I understand the special bond you share with your animal and will always be a responsible, caring, and mindful caretaker.

Claire is great!
Claire is the best. I got a Saint Bernard puppy that was a fluffy ball of energy. When she was a puppy, that energy was easy to control. When she got older, not so much. Claire worked with me to help me get a little more control on my giant dog. I don't know what I would have done without her!
Claire really loves dogs, the good and the bad. She is especially patient with senior dogs that have special needs. I my 16 year old schnauzer-pug mix, Morton, was not in the best place when he first met Claire. His teeth were beginning to rot away, his ear smelled something awful, and something deathly was constantly leaking from his behind. Very few strangers could see pass the stink to love Morton the way I do, but Claire immediately started rolling around with him in his cloud of farts. It had been such a long time since I had seen him that happy.
Claire is one of the most capable and responsible dog friends I have ever met. Once, when visiting college, my dog escaped down the hall and ran into the dorm bathroom. However, the great escape occurred while at dinner with my parents. Claire came back from the library earlier than expected to find the door open and noticed that Ellie, our miniature schnauzer wasn't there. Claire patiently searched every room and checked every stall in the bathroom for her until she found her quivering behind a shower curtain. I don't know what I would have done without Claire in my moment of irresponsibility.
