Pet care experience
I am great with dogs of many sizes and activity levels as I have spent 2 years as a certified volunteer at a shelter. I have also spent time caring for, feeding, and walking dogs for family and friends including animals with special needs and medications.

Our dog, Dexter, has an autoimmune disease that causes for a pretty demanding medication schedule and that he eats in a Bailey chair. Although Claire did not have prior first-hand experience with his condition, she was confident she could handle it, and she was absolutely right. She was a rockstar! Claire sent us pics of Dex in his chair, and my Ring doorbell told me she kept up with his schedule. We really enjoyed the updates we got from Claire, especially when our skittish cat was getting cozy with her. Any apprehension we had at that pointed melted away. Claire will be our first choice for any of our future trips!
Claire was so great to work with. She made sure to meet myself, my wife, and my dog before she decided to book with us. She wanted to make sure it was a good fit! During her time with our dog, she sent daily updates and pictures, which was very stress relieving for us! Claire has great communication and we know our dog was well taken care of. Thank you Claire!

Claire is an amazing person. She is caring, compassionate and friendly. She loves animals, especially dogs. Claire loves our dog, Rocky, just as much she loves her own dog. Her love for animals is evident in her responsibility in taking care of animals. Claire is a great pet caregiver and I highly recommend her to others looking for another best friend for their pet.

I am not able to care for pets in my home as my apartment building does not allow it. However, when caring for client’s pets in their home I always make sure that the pet is safe, comfortable, cared for, and that all messes that the pet may have made are cleaned up. My focus is on the pet and making sure that they are comfortable around me while getting the job done and keeping the pet as happy as can be.

A meet and greet is very important to me as a sitter to get to know you and your pet prior to my time with them. This will help me to be more comfortable when caring for your pet and will hopefully make the pet more comfortable being around me as well. Some questions I tend to ask during a meet and greet include topics such as eating habits, activity level, and normal actions and mannerisms.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I care for on walks or runs to keep them active as long as they are able. I also enjoy playing with them and their toys and occasionally playing hide and seek with treats for those who like to sniff!

Availability
I do have a full time job that requires me to be in the office from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday but I am free to stop by in the evenings and on weekends!
