Pet care experience
I am UF grad and will be available most of the summer to petsit in Gainesville! I would love to meet lots of friendly dogs and their owners! I have been a pet owner my entire life and have been a repeat petsitter for multiple families and friends over the past few summers. Besides being a pet owner for my entire life, I am a consistent volunteer at the Humane Society in Gainesville. I volunteered there each Friday where I typically either walk dogs or clean cages and litter boxes. I often worked with dogs that were quarantined or had other health needs. I will be available over the summer for dogwalking or for house visits. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. If you have cats or other pets, I can also check on them as needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Claire was absolutely fabulous. She watched our 2 Border Collies and stayed at our house while we spent a long weekend out of town. She is completely reliable and trustworthy and the pups absolutely loved her. She sent daily photos/updates of the pups and their activities to us while we were gone. A typical day
I love going for long walks or playing fetch or tug with dogs. I don't have a dog of my own right now, so the work is fun to me! I'll be careful to keep dog paws off of hot concrete and to make sure your dog is hydrated so they don't overdo it in the Florida heat.

I work part-time but my schedule is generally very flexible. I can stay overnight or check on your pets multiple times a day if preferred.
