Before I welcome a dog into our home, I need to know if they are well-socialized with dogs and humans. If not, special care arrangements must be made between myself and their owner to make sure all the animals and humans are safe and feel safe while the animal is under my care. I also want to make sure I know about any dietary and medical needs. I grow lemon balm, cat nip, and cat grass in my garden and make my own healthy treats from animal-safe vegetables. I'd want to know if an owner would like me to share these goodies with their pet or prefer for me not to do so. I'd also like to know the animal's feeding schedules, ideal potty schedule, and favorite activities so I can make my home feel like their home.

I love to take my dogs to Huntington Park to play. The park is only a short walk from my house. My dogs love to play tug of war and fetch with their rope toys. I have a barkbox subscription that has led to a large toy bin filled with toys for tough chewers. I also love to snuggle my cat and spoil her with my fresh grown catnip and cat grass from my garden. She loves to chase her feather toy around her cat trees. All the pets love to find treats in their puzzle toys too. These activities work to provide my pets (and yours!) with enriching, fun days.
