Pet care experience
To all my old friends, I am back now after taking time off to care for my little buddy Bernie, my French Bulldog, who passed away recently at the age of 14. I need some company to love on now. It will be so nice to see my old friends again. From February through April I am only taking only one dog at a time unless they are in the same family. I have experience as a vet tech with over forty 40 years caring for animals. I am also experienced with special needs animals. I am trained to give shots, medications, etc., so you can relax while you are on vacation. I have a degree in research & currently volunteer in the lab at FAU. I have a fenced in back yard. I have had dogs of all sizes and pets of all types over the years. I am available on holidays and weekends for full time care with plenty of play and attention. I have experience with exotics also. I will love your pets as I love my own! Let me make your pet part of our family!

This was the first time we used Rover.com. Claire is a nice lady but not a good fit for us. She did take our dog a day early as we had a change of plans which was nice. We experienced a communication breakdown in picking our dog up after our trip due to her schedule which was frustrating and was greeted outside in the front yard with our dog and his belongings.
Claire is very friendly and made sure Raffi was comfortable and had a chance to explore Claire's environment at our meet and greet, so he would be comfortable when he came to spend the night.
Claire is very easy to work with. Nice location. Charlie had a great time. Definitely recommend.
Claire was kind and attentive to both of my yorkies. Small dogs can be a lot of work sometimes, and she was always very kind to listen to my suggestions of how to care for them. Thank you!

I have a large fenced in back yard to allow supervised play throughout the day. I live in a quite neighborhood for long walks. Dogs are allowed to play together but can be separated if owners prefer. You are always welcome to call and check on your friend. Photos & videos provided throughout the stay.

Early drop offs or late pick ups can be arranged. Late arrivals or pick ups (1 hr window) have an additional $15 fee. NO pick ups after 7:30 pm. Extra needs animals will have fee adjustment according to their needs. Please let me know all special needs, social anxiety, feeding needs, potty schedule etc. Well behaved dogs only. Sorry no droolers. Pets must be house broken. Please provide your pups special toys, bedding, food, bowls, and treats. Extras are available but most pups are more comfortable when surrounded by their own possessions.
A typical day
Dogs will be walked 2 times per day and taken to the back yard for supervised play 3 times per day or as needed. Dogs will be allowed throughout the home unless showing signs of aggression or illness. Animals can be separated if owner prefers.

From February through April, I will only be taking 1 dog at a time unless they are from the same family. I will be opening my calendar to take more friends after April. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to stay home much of the day. We like to take our walks early before the heat hits and again later in the day.
