Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Claire! I am a huge animal lover available on weekends for dog walks, dog sitting, drop in visits, or whatever pet care you may need! I have a very friendly 1 year old hound mix that I would love to be able to bring with me on my dog walks or dog sitting jobs, so please specify if your dog is friendly! I used to use rover to find new pet care clients throughout college but am back on the app as I’m out walking my dog almost all day on the weekends anyway, why not help out other pets too while I’m at it? I’m a huge animal rights activist and part of many local rescue groups and have years of experience with many different temperaments, breeds, and size. If you’re nervous about leaving your pet in someone esles hands, I’ve been there too, and I’m your girl! I will send lots of pictures and videos of your dog and will follow any rules or routine you may have for your pets. I hope to see you and your pet soon!

Claire is amazing. She kept in touch throughout our weekend away, sending photos of Noodle and keeping us updated on what they were doing. She spent a lot of time with Noodle, taking her for walks and playing with her. Noodle loves her. Claire is very professional and you can tell she loves dogs. Don't hesitate to book her. She's great. We will definitely use her whenever we need a sitter for Noodle.
Claire was awesome, she really took her time with Whiskey and was so pleasant. He got a great walk every night and she took great care while going in and out if my home, ensuring it was secure every time she left. She was extremely communicative and let me know how the walks went, frequently sending some pictures. Would book again!
Claire is a very responsible and honest dog lover! She’s grown up with dogs and has always been patient, kind and caring towards them. One of her favorite activities while dog sitting is long walks around the neighborhood!

I have a great walking path for dogs at my apartment community if you don’t have a great area near you, I also take my dog on lots of hikes on the local hiking trails, which he loves and can take your dog there too if you want! If you’re more comfortable with them just getting a simple walk around your house, that’s okay too!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I have experience administering medications and with both extremely high energy and low energy dogs and will accommodate to your dogs energy level and medical and behavioral needs! I believe in force free training so if you use any e-collars, or prong collars, please note that these will be removed upon my arrival as I only use flat collars or harnesses while dogs are under my care.
A typical day
Stimulation is important, so I will ensure your dog gets full mental and physical enrichment stimulation under my care. I will accommodate the level of enrichment and exercise based on your dogs energy level and age, so even if your dog is a bit older and can’t handle long walks, I will make sure to play mental enrichment games or provide enrichment activities for them to get their necessary daily enrichment time.

Availability
I do work full time monday - Friday, so I am available on weekends to help with whatever your pet may need while you’re away! I have a 1 year friendly hound mix that I spend all day on weekends either out hiking all day or doing fun activities, so I figured, why not let other dogs join in on the fun too? If your dog is not friendly or you’d rather them not walk with my dog that’s okay too!
