CAN I PET THAT DOG
Pet care experience
I've had my baby Odie (shih tzu) since he was 3 months old, he's been with me and my family for 12 years, two countries and three homes. Throughout these years I've also taken care of numerous other dogs and cats! Whenever a friend is going on vacation, I'm usually the one asking them to let me take care of their pets while they're away, instead of the other way around, because words cannot stress just how much I love animals. We really don't deserve dogs but you can bet I'll try my hardest to make it up to them, be it in the form of hugs, kisses or convincing them that they're the goodest doggo.

Claire was a very good host for our beloved Sancho. She was very receptive and kind to talk to us - either for meeting before the stay, taking doubts or sending updates during the stays. Sancho had a good time staying with Claire - we felt that she provided him with attention, love and care. He was treated the way we treat him at home. Also, she guaranteed daily walks and it was great that she has a backyard for him to do some outside breaks during the day. We are planning other stays already.
Claire has such a calm, warm, and caring temperament that our precious boy really bonded with them almost instantly. She was an absolute star from the constant daily updates throughout our trip really making us feel at ease knowing he was in great hands. If you are looking for a boarder you can trust with your furry loved one I would wholeheartedly recommend looking no further. Thanks Claire!! ✨⭐️
Mabel had a great time at Claire’s and got lots of love and attention during her stay. Claire went over and above in trying to get our fussy eater to have her food which was massively appreciated. Thank you for spoiling her whilst we were away and for the regular updates and photos. Much appreciated.

I have a fenced backyard so if it's raining and your dog hates rain like I do, know that they'll have a safer and quicker place to go potty. Other than that they'll be warm and cozy either in my arms or snuggling on my bed. Both bed and sofa are completely dog-friendly, wherever I sit, they can sit too!

I've taken care of blind dogs, puppies and elderly dogs, but please let me know if your dog needs medication administered, prefers food to be served a certain way, or requires anything special at all! (House-trained dogs only please!)
A typical day
My typical day is staying at home and relaxing, but I also live super close to Clapham Common Park, so if your dog is lazy and likes sleeping, or is high-energy and needs four walks a day, then look no further - I'm more than happy and capable to provide either and/or both :) Warning: Extra treats may be given!

Availability
I'm currently studying in London as a full-time university student, but most of my classes are online, and I'm a huge indoors person so I'll be home most of the time with a laid-back schedule. I sleep late so I usually let the pups out just before I go to sleep, that way they don't have to hold it in for too long!
