Pet care experience
Growing up I was never short of a pet, whether that be a dog, cat, reptile, bird, you name it! I’ve loved animals since I was young and it follows me into adulthood. I am currently a Veterinary Assistant working on becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have experience mainly with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors, but am not shy to the exotics! In my spare time and days off I am looking to spend time with your babies while you’re away and care for them as my own.

Claire has been amazing!!! We received pics and messages about the pups. We were so nervous about leaving them with a stranger but they really loved Claire. She is definitely amazing with animals!!! Will be using Claire again!!!
Claire has been amazing!! It was our first time using Rover and we were not disappointed. We got pics of our pups each time Claire took them out and that made us feel so much better about leaving town. Thank you Claire!!!

Any health concerns that I need to know about, medications they may need, any special diets or if they need “training” practice like sitting before they eat or getting rewarded for going potty outside. Or if needed I can separate while feeding if food aggressive!
A typical day
I always keep treats on hand to reward good behavior on walks. I’ll always instigate tug of war and some good cuddles and scratches after. For kitties, I always give them the chance to come to me first and make sure they get plenty of chin scratches and belly rubs.

Availability
I currently work “full-time” but I have Wednesdays off and Thursday evenings off. On the days I work I have time for a walk or drop in visit on my lunch and after work, and on my off days I’m available whenever. I always keep my availability up to date and communicate well.
