Pet care experience
I work within a doggy day care, with all breeds big and small, and I am currently aspiring to be a certified dog trainer and undertaking numerous courses to perfect my skill and relationship with dogs. I am fully insured as a dog walker/sitter. I also own a 3 yr old beagle named Milo and he is my best friend.
Reviews
I currently work with Claire in a Dog day care. She is amazing with all the dogs. She is very hard working and loves the dogs like they are her own. She has also looked after my little one Dougall before and he loves it. He gets so excited to see her and he will practically pull me off my feet to get to Claire.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Claire as a pet caregiver with Rover.com! Our dog Nelson adores her. She has a natural way with dogs and even when we just say her name, Nelson goes to the door expectedly. I trust her implicitly. Sadly we had a sudden bereavement recently and Claire was here within half an hour of calling her to pick up Nelson to look after him while we dealt with everything. So much appreciated. She would be a fantastic ambassador for Rover.com and the dogs and owners will be very lucky to know her!

Safety, trust & environment
I am pet first aid trained. If I were to care for your dog, I would follow any routine (walking routes, sleeping habits, food habits) you currently have in place to ensure that the dog is not disrupted or confused whilst in my care. I want to make sure your dog feels safe and secure and comfortable whilst receiving all the love and care.
Information Claire G. would like to know about your pet
I make sure I am very thorough and like to know everything your pets needs but also a summary of their personality and habits. A pet should be free to live how they want when it comes to feeding, walking etc.
A typical day
It is very important to stimulate a dog mentally and physically. I preferably like to use mental stimulation as it allows them to use their brain and build dopamine that will help with their mood but most importantly, tire them out. I encourage the use of sniffle mats, frozen KONGS, the use of organic long lasting treats e.g. pig ears/ cow ears. I also like to keep the dog physically active by taking them out on long nature walks that allows them to take on new smells and surroundings.

Availability
