Dog trainer - caring for your dog!
Pet care experience
My name is Claire and it's nice to meet you! My dog journey started four years ago when I got my dog, Nala, and she has taught me so much! One of my favorite things she's taught me is how important our relationships are. Nala taught me how to be authentic in relationships because there's no faking it with a dog! Dogs are an incredible mirror and they communicate with us through emotion. When we are calm, our dogs can become calm. When we are focused, our dogs become focused. By stepping up and learning how to be a better leader in my relationship with Nala, I have learned how to be a better leader to the rest of the world. And for that, I am truly grateful. I believe that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. I am on Rover to meet new people and their dogs and to build a strong community of dog lovers in my town.
Reviews
Claire and her family were wonderful caretakers of our feisty but lovable dog. She took special care in introducing herself and her toddler and paid attention to all that we suggested. We will definitely use her in the future and refer the service to friends.
Claire was amazing. incredibly responsive, accommodating to a last min request and few extra circumstances to navigate. She came back on her own accord to make sure my dog was ok when she had found the door open earlier. Sent such sweet photos. I could tell my dog was completely cared for and loved. We would 100% use her again
Claire watched our 9-month old pup over three nights at our place. She is super on top of things and responsible, seems to really ‘get’ dogs, and took great care of our dog and our apartment. Her dog Nala also got along well with our dog (who can be a handful sometimes!). Would highly recommend Claire and would love to have her watch our pup more often!
Very accommodating and caring.

A co-trainer of mine says it best, "Dogs don't go on walks, they go on Missions." In the wild, dogs don't just stroll around the block to relieve themselves. On our Missions we set clear intentions and act with purpose. That might look like going from A to B. That might look like practicing practical training. That might look like letting the dog explore. The rule is that we try to learn or notice something new every time.
