Dog loving family
Pet care experience
We are a friendly, kind, dog loving family. My husband and I work from home and we have 2 children very keen for a dog of their own! We have had dogs in the family for 15 years and have regularly looked after friends and family's dogs and cats but would like our children to realise the full responsibilities as well as the joys of dog ownership.
Reviews
Claire looked after our dog Olive for a week whilst we were on holiday. Olive had such a great time there and she treated Olive like she was part of their family! I'd happily use Claire again and would recommend her to others looking for a caring house for their dog. We were sent regular photo updates whilst away which we really liked!
Claire and her family welcomes Jessie into their home. Communication was excellent throughout the stay. Will definitely try to use again
Claire and her family did a fantastic job of looking after our greyhound Blake for a recent 1 week stay. He's a real cuddle bug so much prefers staying in homes to kennels, and with 4 dog lovers in the family he seemed to be thoroughly pampered during his week away! I sometimes worry about being too prescriptive with his routines and preferences, but nothing was too much trouble. Claire also kept us really well informed with daily photos and updates during his stay. Would definitely book again - I think Blake is already looking forward to his next stay! Thank you all :)
Claire and her family are brilliant dog sitters. My golden retriever Willow had a fabulous time with them for 5 nights. She was obviously well looked after. Claire followed my requests regarding food and she had lots of walks, cuddles and attention. Claire regularly updated me as well which was much appreciated. She is returning to them at Easter and I am absolutely sure she will be well looked after again then.

We have a large fenced in 100ft garden for a dog to run free! Our home has an open plan kitchen and lounge with French windows opening onto the garden. The dog would have free reign in the downstairs and sleep in our kitchen/ lounge area. We have experience of house sitting for family & friends, as well as popping in to feed pets. We really enjoy taking dogs on daily walks, for play time and general company. Family and friends are always able to depend on us for looking after any of their pets and we really enjoy every moment spent with them. 🐾 I am very flexible with my schedule at the moment, your dog would be the only pet in the house so it would be throughly spoilt with love and attention.

Information Claire C. would like to know about your pet
For overnight stays, we feel it's really important to invite you to our home first so your dog can have a little nosey around our house. Then they know where they will be coming to stay and you can feel comfortable and assured your dog will be well looked after. We'd like to know if your dog has any particular routine, special medication or particular foods? How much exercise do they expect each day? How often do they need to be let out for toileting? Are they well socialised/ OK when meeting other dogs in the park? Anything else to be aware of? We care for pets in our home as if they were our own. We like them to feel safe and loved. We like to stick to the owners rules. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING: Dogs lead Their favourite toy Please provide the food needed for the duration of the visit plus dog treats, their favourite bowl and bed.
A typical day
We love to take dogs on walks in Beddington Park, Oaks Park and Queen Mary's which is right behind our home. Both my children, aged 15 & 12 are home in the afternoons and keen to play with and entertain your dog! They would never be alone in taking the dog for a walk, myself or my husband would be with them. We would never let your dog off the lead in a public space.

Availability
We enjoy walking and have four beautiful local parks on our doorstep. My husband and I are both fit and active and walk each day to take time away from our screens/ home office space. As we have no other pets your dog would be our no.1 priority. We would do everything to ensure that your dog is happy, relaxed and well loved whilst you are away.
