Pet care experience
I have always had a love for animals but didn't realize my deep passion for animal welfare until I started volunteering at a local Humane Society. The work accomplished there led me to return to school. I attended UIC, studying Biological Science. I’m taking a mini break at the moment. Ever since I can remember there has been a dog in my life, whether it be mine or a shelter kiddo. My volunteer background gave me the groundwork to build knowledge on canine body language and behavior. I am open to working with all breeds. **Due to a couple people taking advantage of services, I feel it is in the best interest of everyone involved that I add extra information in certain sections. Please read over anything with asterisks as it will provide more insight.** **Rates can be adjusted based on different variables. If you have any questions just feel free to ask**

Claire was an amazing sitter for my dog Mack! My dog is leash reactive and I was upfront with some of the challenges that we have had with him and she was extremely receptive to all of it. She did a great job sending updates the entire time I was gone and our place was clean when I got back!
Another great weekend having Claire watch my Ollie! She always goes above and beyond to take care of him. She is excellent at sending updates and takes the cutest pictures. I highly recommend her!
Claire is the most caring pet sitter ever. We always feel great when we know she’s watching our pups.

All breeds welcome:-) Before sitting your pet(s) I would like to know if there is anything that I should be aware of: -medical conditions -fears -triggers -bite history -etc. None of the above will deter me from treating your pooch unlike my own however, complete transparency is a must for safety reasons. **ALL pets MUST be on your profile. Any animal that requires more care: bottle-feeding babies, etc. are more than welcome when sitting. Rates will be adjusted appropriately.** **Under no circumstances will I sit an untreated sick animal. Proper veterinary care MUST be provided as I firmly believe all animals deserve to be cared for.**
A typical day
Taking a walk in the neighborhood, playing around in a backyard, and/or working on commands are just a few things you can expect that your pup will do with me. If there are any places or activities that you have a preference towards, please let me know.
