I rescued my large dog about 5 years ago, and he can be very nervous. Training him has helped me to understand behavior issues and reading body language. He's pretty big (about 85lb) and I have no issues handling him on walks if he reacts to things before I can step in, so that makes it easy to handle every other dog! I also have experience watching a dog who's reactive to other dogs, so I know how to get them to properly walk by and avoid issues. I love to work on training my dog with new skills and taking him on long walks or hikes when the weather is nice. I always use R+ training techniques. Pet parents just want to know their dog is cared for, and I will do just that :)
