Dog obsessed!!
Pet care experience
I took a several year hiatus from Rover while I balanced two jobs and attended school full-time. I am now a full-time advisor in my Retail Banking role and I purchased my own home about a year ago. I regularly have a minimum of 2-3 fosters plus my own dog, Nova (Sheperd x Husky). So the dog does have to be dog-friendly! I love to keep busy and I love watching the dogs have fun. I have been responsible for pets belonging to my friends, clients, rescues, family, and my own for a cumulative 10 years now. I began fostering in December of 2022 and have successfully helped find 20 dogs their furever homes. I'm highly committed and always go above and beyond when taking care of the furbabies. I’m an extremely responsible individual who will always make sure that safety is the priority while ensuring all the dogs have fun. I love when they’re all exhausted after a busy day of playing! Dogs love my energetic and enthusiastic attitude while the owners love the updates and pictures I send while they're away. I'm very receptive of the animals' likes and dislikes, whether it's going for a quick trip to the park and playing fetch or just giving tummy rubs. I can handle up to five dogs in my home depending on their size and temperament but the amount I can accommodate via Rover really depends on the fosters I have! So I am always open to discussion if you have multiples.
Reviews
Excellent care and very communicate. We were happy with the care and updates we received through out the stay of our pets with Claire. Highly recommend ! !
Hard to not write a whole text book about Claire. Her kindness and empathy for animals is extraordinary. She has a deep passion and love for our furry little friends that goes beyond words. When introduced to my dog, who is a big hyper ball of energy and sometimes hard to calm down, she showed nothing but patience and respect for him. Taking the time necessary for each doggo is something that not all people possess, but Claire does, and it shows in the bond she has with each and every dog she comes across.
Claire is the best! My dog loves her and her place, the second they see her they go bonkers. Can’t recommend her enough! Her dog Nova is great with all dogs too
Claire is an amazing dog sitter! She is always great at communicating and goes the extra step to make sure our pups are happy and healthy!

When ANY dog comes into my home, they are always treated as if they are my own. They’re met with love, patience, and kindness. They get lots of snuggles and attention from myself and the dogs in my home.

Information Claire B. would like to know about your pet
I would need to ensure they are social and enjoy other dogs and what ages they are okay with (my fosters age in range from 5 weeks or older). I would like to know of any guarding issues or any other pertinent information regarding their temperament as well!
A typical day
I’m very adaptable to the dog’s preferences whether they’re quiet and like to stay home or love to go out on drives or walks. I frequently visit dog friendly patios as it is a good source of socialization for dogs. They also enjoy going in my fully fenced in backyard to play with the other dogs I have or any visiting ones. I live near the Thames Valley Parkway (TVP) which is a lovely, long walking trail to go on.

I currently work full-time so they do have to be comfortable being home alone whether in the crate, pen, or free roaming for 8 hours. But otherwise, I’m home every evening and weekend with them as I do usually have a lot of dogs here that I take care of.
