I am currently on track to become a veterinarian so I guess you could say I love animals! I have years of experience working with dogs of all breeds and have worked with shy and behaviorally challenged dogs. I am well-versed in canine body language and know how to have fun with your pooch! If you also need help with training I am happy to work on that with you as well. I am active and love to spend time outside, I will definitely run with your dog (if age and breed appropriate) and take him or her on many fun adventures. I currently am a Veterinary Technician at the Back Cove Animal Hospital in Portland so I have extensive experience working with dogs and am comfortable with medicating dogs and handling potential emergency situations. I am responsible and will always be on time to an appointment. I hope you will consider me to take care of your animals or your home!

I do not have any breed preferences but I would like to know if your dog has any behavioral challenges. If your dog is afraid of strangers, other dogs, or new places I would like to know that before we go on a walk or a car ride. While I'm well-versed in canine behavior and body language, it helps me to be prepared in advance.
A typical day
The types of activities depend on the dog. For older or lower energy dogs I am happy just to sit outside or go on a nice, relaxed stroll by the ocean. For high energy dogs we can go on long runs in the nearby mountains or hikes in the state parks. I am happy to do just about anything outside!
